Abstract
A toy launching apparatus for hydrated super absorbent projectiles having a barrel and/or a barrel extender using porous plastic and coated with hydrochromic material where the hydrated super absorbent projectiles and the interior surface of the barrel and/or of the barrel extender are tight fitting. Launcher apparatus and methods are provided with toy projectile launching rounds expelled from an air compression source extending to position received projectiles launched through a barrel.
