Abstract
Examples relate to a device including a first application unit having a first roller and second roller forming, in a nip between the outer cylindrical surfaces thereof, a first gap through which powdered material can be conveyed to form a first dry film. The second roller, or a further roller following downstream from the second roller, together with a counter-pressure roller forms a second gap through which a carrier substrate is guided to have the dry film applied. The first and the second rollers can be inclined with respect to one another based on a relative progression of axes of rotation thereof and can be varied in relative inclinations. The first or second roller is mounted in the device to be pivotable about an actual or imaginary pivot axis which extends perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the pivotable roller and/or of the other of the two rollers.
