Abstract

Disclosed are a stimulation device and method to coordinately stimulate two separate nerves in a human or animal body for activating a target tissue. The device includes a first coil unit configured to stimulate a first nerve, a second coil unit configured to stimulate a second nerve, and a bracket structure coupled to the first and second coil units. The bracket structure is adjustable such that positions and orientations of the first and second coil units relative to each other are adaptable to a target configuration wherein the first and second coil units are positioned whereby the first nerve is stimulable by the first coil unit and the second nerve is stimulable by the second coil unit. The bracket structure has a locking mechanism to block the position and orientation of the first and second coil units relative to each other in the target configuration.
