Abstract
A DCI size alignment method includes determining, by a communication device, whether a number of DCI sizes of a plurality of DCI formats meets a DCI size budget; and in a case that the DCI size budget is not met, performing a DCI size alignment operation on the plurality of DCI formats according to a DCI size alignment rule until the DCI size budget is met. The DCI size alignment rule includes at least one of: aligning a first DCI format with DCI 0_0 and/or DCI 1_0 in a CSS; aligning the first DCI format with DCI 1_1 and/or DCI 0_1 in a USS; aligning the first DCI format with DCI 1_2 and/or DCI 0_2 in the USS; aligning DCI 1_2 and/or DCI 0_2 in the USS with DCI 1_1 and/or DCI 0_1; or aligning the first DCI format with a group common DCI format in the CSS.
