Abstract
A method, performed by a first distributed unit (DU), of performing communication in a wireless communication system, includes obtaining inter-DU interface configuration information for connection to a second DU; performing the connection to the second DU based on the inter-DU interface configuration information; obtaining information about a throughput of data of at least one radio unit (RU) connected to the first DU based on information about the at least one RU connected to the first DU; selecting at least one target RU based on the information about the throughput of data of the at least one RU; and performing migration of the at least one target RU from the first DU to the second DU.
