Abstract

A lactic acid bacterial composition for modulating immune cell differentiation and/or reducing pro-inflammatory cytokine secretion includes: (a) aGL-104 strain; and (b) aF-1 strain; wherein the GL-104 strain is deposited at the China Center for Type Culture Collection with a deposition number CCTCC M209138, and the F-1 strain is deposited at the China Center for Type Culture Collection with a deposition number CCTCC M2011124. Additionally, a method for treating or preventing allergic rhinitis by administering the foregoing composition to a subject in need thereof is also provided.
