Abstract
A method () by a first wireless communication device () for controlling D2D communication between a first wireless communication device and a second wireless communication device () includes transmitting (), to the second wireless communication device, a DRX configuration for the D2D communication with the second wireless communication device. The first wireless communication device applies () the DRX configuration for the D2D communication with the second wireless communication device and receives (), from the second wireless communication device, a notification indicating that the DRX configuration is unsuitable. Based on the notification, the first wireless communication device reconfigures () the DRX configuration and/or notifying a network node that the applied DRX configuration is unsuitable.
