Abstract
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a first physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission transmitted using a first modulation and coding scheme (MCS). The UE may transmit, to the base station, feedback based at least in part on decoding the first PDSCH transmission, wherein the feedback includes an acknowledgement (ACK) or negative acknowledgement (NACK) and a channel state information (CSI) report that includes at least an indication of a second MCS based at least in part on a target block error rate (BLER) and a target charging rate for energy harvesting.
