Abstract
A decoding device () according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes: an acquisition unit () that acquires an intermediate representation signal in which information regarding representation of haptic presentation is recorded, and characteristic information related to an output unit that performs haptic presentation based on the intermediate representation signal; and a generation unit () that generates a haptic signal being a signal controlling an output of the output unit, based on the intermediate representation signal acquired by the acquisition unit.
