Abstract
A radar scanning system and a scanning method are provided. The processing unit of the radar scanning system is configured to perform the following steps in a scanning round: sending a control signal to cause the radar unit to scan a plurality of predetermined fields of view of the radar unit, and recording, in response to finding a tracked object in the predetermined fields of view through scanning, coordinates of each tracked object and setting a preferential field of view, based on the coordinates of the each tracked object; and creating a scan list, setting, in response to finding the tracked object in the predetermined fields of view, the scan list to include the preferential field of view, and controlling, based on the scan list and a scanning and processing policy, the radar unit to perform scanning.
