An apparatusfor determining orientation of a segmentandof a wind turbine bladeis disclosed. The apparatus includes an elongated memberand a support plateprovided at one end of the elongated member. The support plateis defined with one or more provisionsto facilitate connection with the segmentandof the wind turbine blade. Further, a measuring plateis provided at another end opposite to the one end of the elongated member, where the measuring plateis defined with a substantially airfoil profile.
