Abstract
The invention relates to a production and separation device and method wherein: a reforming effluent () is produced and fractionated in a separation unit () and a fractionation train (--) for extracting benzene (), toluene (), xylenes () and C-aromatics; aromatics are extracted from a feedstock () in a liquid-liquid extraction unit () to produce a first raffinate () and a first extract (), the first extract () being sent to a benzene-toluene fractionation device (); the xylenes are separated in a xylene separation unit () to produce a second extract () containing para-xylene, and a second raffinate () containing ortho-xylene and meta-xylene; and the second raffinate is isomerised in an isomerisation unit () so as to produce an isomerate () enriched in para-xylene sent to a fractionation train (--).
