Abstract

A dishwasher includes: a tub that defines a washing compartment; a door configured to open and close the washing compartment; a dispenser disposed at the door and configured to accommodate a detergent; an exhaust disposed at the door and configured to discharge air in the washing compartment; a rack disposed in the washing compartment; a spray arm configured to spray wash water toward the rack and rotatably disposed in the washing compartment; a magnet provided at the spray arm; and a sensor disposed at the door and configured to detect a magnetic force of the magnet. The door includes a door cover disposed at a front of the door and a door liner facing the washing compartment. The exhaust and the sensor are disposed between the door cover and the door liner, and the sensor is disposed between the exhaust and the dispenser.
