Abstract
The invention relates to a luminaire () or electrical unit which is intended to be supplied with voltage via a DC supply circuit () and has means for power consumption () from the DC supply circuit (), a connection element () for coupling to the DC supply circuit () in order to electrically connect the means for power consumption () to the DC supply circuit, and a switching element (), by means of which the luminaire () or the electrical unit can be switched to electrically load-free before the connection element () is coupled to the DC supply circuit () or before the coupling is released.
