Abstract
Apparatuses and methods for subset restriction for parameter combination for coherent joint transmission in wireless networks. A method performed by a user equipment includes receiving information about a CSI report. The information includes codebook parameters N≥1 combinations of values of {L, . . . , L} from a first table and a value of (p, β) from a second table. {L, . . . , L} is used to determine a number of first set of vectors associated with each of Ngroups of ports, Nis a number ≥1, β is a parameter used to determine a maximum number of coefficients, and pare parameters used to determine a second set of vectors. The method further includes determining the CSI report based on the information and transmitting the CSI report. The codebook parameters are configured based on a third table that links the first and second tables.
