Abstract
An information processing apparatus () includes a generation unit (). The generation unit () generates display data of point cloud data including position information of a plurality of data points. In addition, the generation unit () determines a display size of the data point to be increased as a distance from a fiducial point to the data point becomes longer. The position information included in the point cloud data is, for example, information based on a measurement result of a distance measuring apparatus, and the fiducial point indicates a position of the distance measuring apparatus. Further, for example, the distance measuring apparatus is an apparatus that emits pulsed light and that receives the pulsed light reflected by a target object to measure a distance to the target object.
