Abstract

A base station (BS) is configured to receive a communication indicating a location of a first UE, wherein the first UE is in proximity to a second UE. The BS is further configured to receive a resource request from the first UE for scheduling information to the second UE. A base station (BS) is configured to transmit, based on the first UE and the second UE being in proximity, the scheduling information to the first UE indicating first frequency resources for the first UE to transmit first uplink data to the second UE in a time slot, and indicating second frequency resources that at least partially overlap with the first frequency resources in the time slot.
