Abstract
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive one or more signals associated with a sidelink channel to perform sensing of the sidelink channel. The UE may transmit a control signal associated with a first radio access technology (RAT) to reserve a set of resources associated with a resource pool for the sidelink channel based at least in part on the sensing of the sidelink channel, wherein at least one of the set of resources or the resource pool is associated with a second RAT. The UE may transmit, using one or more resources from the set of resources, a first sidelink message, wherein the first sidelink message is associated with the second RAT.
