Abstract
Preclusive data decompression failure techniques, such as may avoid data decompression failures using predictive decompression failure indications and/or configure communication devices for data transmission recovery before reordering window timer expiration, are described. Preclusive data compression failure operation may, for example, initiate compressor memory resets conditionally according to some aspects of the present disclosure, such as using one or more trigger events to predictively indicate decompression failure. Additionally or alternatively, preclusive data compression failure operation may provide for configuring communication devices for data transmission recovery before reordering window timer expiration, such as configuration for prioritization to provide data transmission recovery before reordering window timer expiration. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.
