Abstract
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method () for congestion control during sidelink transmissions. The method () is performed by a user equipment, UE (), in a wireless communication network. The method () comprises determining () that the UE is actively receiving in a subset of resources during a time interval and estimating () a congestion control metric for the time interval during which the UE is actively receiving in the subset of resources. The method () comprises selecting () one or more transmission parameters to use for sidelink transmissions in accordance with the estimated congestion control metric. Further, the method () comprises performing () sidelink transmission using the selected one or more transmission parameters. Corresponding UE, and computer program products are also disclosed.
