Abstract
A header power connector includes a header housing including an outer housing and a terminal holder. The terminal holder forms a terminal channel and includes a front opening and a rear opening. The header power connector includes a plurality of terminals arranged in a stacked configuration in the terminal channel. Each terminal includes a terminal base, a front socket flanked by front spring beams, and a rear socket flanked by rear spring beams. The rear socket is aligned with the rear opening to receive a power supply element and the rear spring beams engage the power supply element. The header power connector includes a printed circuit board having power pads on upper and lower surfaces and an edge received in the front opening to electrically connect to the power pads at the upper and lower surfaces of the printed circuit board.
