Abstract
A stir stick dispenser () and a method for dispensing stir sticks () in a beverage vending machine (A), whereby a stir stick () is extracted from a stack () of stir sticks () via an extractor () reciprocatingly movable between a retracted rest position and an advanced extraction position and is expelled by moving it away from the extractor () and exerting, through a rocker lever, an expulsion thrust during the movement of the extractor () towards its advanced position.
