Abstract

A rolling bearing unit () includes a rolling bearing () and an annular cage () formed by two half-cages () connected together by pins () and holes () formed alternately in a row on each half-cage (). The pins () of a half-cage being snap-coupling with the holes () of the opposing half-cage. Rigid blocks () alternate with recesses (). The rigid blocks () of a half-cage () coupling with the recesses () of the opposing half-cage (). The projecting rigid blocks () bearing the projecting pins (). The holes () being formed at the back of the recesses (), so that the half-cages () are connected by a first coupling and a second coupling in series (), designed to separately absorb tangential and axial stresses. The half-cages () are provided with a radial annular ridge () acting as a screen.
