Abstract
Systems and methods for producing a wash oil using a light fuel oil (e.g., cracked distillate) are disclosed. The methods include hydrogenating the cracked distillate and separating the hydrogenated cracked distillate to remove Cto Chydrocarbons to produce the wash oil.
