Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing fluoroelastomers having iodinated/brominated chain ends, notably vinylidene fluoride (VDF)-based fluoroelastomers, in emulsion polymerization whereas no addition of fluorosurfactants or hydrogenated surfactants is required, and to a fluoroelastomers which can be obtained from said method.
