Abstract

A method of transfer printing on a tatami mat cover includes a printing step for performing printing on an intermediate transfer medium using a color ink composition containing a sublimable dye, a water-soluble organic solvent, and water, and a transfer step for transferring the print on the intermediate transfer medium to a tatami mat cover, wherein the transfer step is performed under conditions of a heating temperature of from 170° C. to 180° C., a pressure of from 0.5 kg/cmto 0.6 kg/cm, and a heating time of from 60 seconds to 180 seconds.
