Abstract
One aspect of the present invention relates to a carbonaceous material that has a benzene adsorption amount of 30 to 60%, a vitamin B12 adsorption amount of more than 50.0 mg/g, and a micropore volume of mesopores of 0.13 to 0.30 cm/g as calculated from a nitrogen adsorption isotherm by a BJH method.
