Abstract
A user equipment (UE) can perform a method for managing inter-frequency measurements. The method includes: determining () one or more carrier frequencies for inter-frequency measurements while a radio connection between the UE and the RAN is not active; determining () that data is available for early data communication between the UE and a core network (CN); and determining () whether to suspend (i) inter-frequency measurements on at least one of the carrier frequencies or (ii) the early data communication.
