Abstract
A communication apparatus uses communication with Ack message and communication without Ack message, shares with an external apparatus a data size to be received via the communication without Ack message by communicating with the external apparatus using the communication with Ack message, and receives data corresponding to one block by receiving preset data corresponding to the one block as a packet of a plurality of partial blocks using the communication without Ack message after the data size has been shared via the sharing unit. Whether reception of data corresponding to the one block has been correctly executed when a transmission completion notification for data corresponding to the one block is received from the external apparatus via the communication with Ack message is determined and transmitted to the external apparatus via the communication with Ack message until the data size is received.
