Abstract

According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method of detecting an object around a vehicle includes clustering points obtained from a Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) sensor of the vehicle, determining a position of a threshold line corresponding to a rear of a first object based on object points of a cluster box generated according to the clustering, and generating a first bounding box of the first object and a second bounding box of a second object based on a distribution of the object points based on the position of the threshold line.
