Abstract
A washbasin assembly includes comprising a base body () with a top recess () having a drainage opening () formed therein. A surface of the top recess slopes in the direction of the drainage opening (). The base body () is formed from hard foam carrying a waterproof layer () at least on its upwardly facing surfaces, on which in turn, an adhesion-promoting layer () is arranged which promotes adhesion of thin-bed mortar or filler material, the base body () formed from a plurality of cut-to-size rigid foam panels (), which are arranged one above the other and are firmly bonded to one another.
