Abstract
Provided is a display device that includes a plurality of first electrodes; a second electrode facing the plurality of first electrodes and an organic light-emitting layer provided between the plurality of first electrodes and the second electrode. Each of the first electrode includes a metal layer having a main surface facing the organic light-emitting layer and a transparent electrode covering a main surface of the metal layer and a side surface of the metal layer and containing a transparent conductive oxide. The metal layer includes a first metal layer having a hydrogen absorption capacity and a second metal layer provided on the first metal layer and facing the organic light-emitting layer with the transparent electrode interposed therebetween. A peripheral edge of the first metal layer is separated from the transparent electrode.
