Abstract
A ball screw deviceincludes a screw shafthaving a screw grooveformed in an outer peripheral surface, a nuthaving a screw grooveformed in an inner peripheral surface, and a large number of ballsarranged between the screw grooveof the screw shaftand the screw grooveof the nut. A ratio Δr/L1 of a radial gap Δr, which is a maximum amount of radial movement of the nutwith respect to the screw shaft, to an axial span L1 between the large number of ballsis made larger than 1/2000.
