Abstract

A safety valve () for a pneumatic conduit () includes: a valve body () with a pressure port () pneumatically connected to a pressure side () of the pneumatic conduit () and a release port () pneumatically connected to a release side () of the pneumatic conduit (), a valve piston () axially movable along a valve axis (AV) relative to the valve body () between a release-side end position (SP) and a pressure-side end position (SP), and a valve piston spring () to push the valve piston () into the pressure-side end position (SP). A bypass conduit () extends through the valve body () or the valve piston () and, depending on the position of the valve body, permits a release airflow (AF) to flow through the bypass conduit between the pressure port () and the release port ().
