Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a method for determining an adverse condition of a powertrain of a vehicle. According to a first aspect, this disclosure proposes a method for determining an adverse condition of a powertrain of a vehicle and comprising one or more shafts. The method comprises determining angular displacement between angular positions of one or more shafts of the powertrain at individual points along the powertrain. The method further comprises determining, based on the monitored angular displacement, an adverse condition of one or more parts of the powertrain. The method further comprises performing an action based on the determined adverse condition. The disclosure also relates to corresponding sensor arrangement and computer program, and to a vehicle comprising the sensor arrangement.
