Abstract

Some examples of a dressing for treating a tissue site can include a manifold layer comprised of foam. The manifold layer can have a first side, a second side, and a thickness between the first side and the second side. The manifold layer can include a plurality of holes extending through the thickness of the manifold layer and being positioned at least in a first row and a second row. Each of the plurality of holes may have a hole length that is longer than and perpendicular to a hole width. The hole length of at least one of the holes in the first row may be positioned at an angle relative to the hole length of another of the holes in the second row. The manifold layer can be configured to prevent tissue in-growth and contract radially in all directions. Other apparatuses, dressings, systems, and methods are disclosed.
