Abstract
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a sensing device may transmit a first Layer 2 (L2) data packet that includes a Layer 2.5 (L2.5) frame. The sensing device may receive a second L2 data packet that includes a response to the L2.5 frame. Motion data indicating whether an object is moving may be generated based at least in part on a channel frequency response associated with receiving the second L2 data packet.
