Abstract
A handheld power tool () is disclosed comprising a handle () and a trigger element () extending along a curved portion of the handle () and being movably arranged relative to the handle (). The power tool () further comprises a spring assembly () configured to bias the trigger element () towards an unactuated position relative to the handle () and a switch () configured to switch from a first state to a second state when the trigger element () is moved from the unactuated position. The spring assembly () comprises a follower () and a spring member () configured to bias the follower () in a first direction (d) against a sliding surface () of one of the handle () and the trigger element () to bias the trigger element () towards the unactuated position. The follower () is slidably arranged relative to the sliding surface () along a second direction (d) being perpendicular to the first direction (d).
