Abstract
An object of the present invention is to improve distance measurement accuracy in a case where there is a change in distance between communication devices in a case where distance measurement is performed by a phase based method. A communication device () according to the present invention includes a phase characteristic acquisition unit (F) that acquires a phase characteristic with respect to a frequency of a signal propagation path with another communication device, and a distance calculation unit (F) that calculates a distance to the another communication device on the basis of the phase characteristic, in which the phase characteristic acquisition unit (F) acquires the phase characteristic by changing the frequency by a frequency change pattern including at least an upward-side change and a downward-side change.
