Abstract
An arrangement for determining the operational performance of a rotating electric machine connected to an operating voltage includes a sensor apparatus and a computing device. The sensor apparatus is designed to capture a stray magnetic field outside the machine and to calculate from the captured stray magnetic field a slip frequency and a synchronous frequency. An enhanced equivalent circuit diagram including predetermined, machine-specific parameters is stored on the computing device. The computing device is configured to determine, on the basis of the calculated slip frequency and synchronous frequency, a slip and then to determine the operational performance of the machine by the enhanced equivalent circuit diagram.
