Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a mixing device () comprising an inlet channel (), an outlet channel (), a mixing cavity () and a laminar mixing element () arranged within the mixing cavity. The inlet channel extends along an axis () of the mixing device from a first end () of the mixing device to the mixing cavity. The outlet channel extends along the axis from the mixing cavity to a second end () of the mixing device arranged opposite to the first end. The mixing cavity is arranged between the inlet channel and the outlet channel and extends in an axial direction (A) along the axis and in a radial direction (R) outwardly from the axis to an outer wall () of the mixing cavity. The laminar mixing element extends radially across the mixing cavity, subdividing the mixing cavity into an inlet portion () and an outlet portion (). The mixing element comprises a plurality of holes () extending through the mixing element. The said holes are distributed over the mixing element.
