Abstract
The invention relates to a cooling system () for cooling an exhaust-gas turbocharger () as a heat source (), the cooling system () including a cooling pipe () filled with a working fluid (), wherein the cooling pipe is arranged at a distance from a turbine housing () of the exhaust-gas turbocharger (), wherein the cooling pipe () is formed as a loop so that the working fluid is self-propelling within the cooling pipe (), wherein the heat source () is serving as a evaporator for the working fluid and a heat sink () is serving as a condenser for the working fluid, wherein the working fluid () is selected according to the amount of heat produced by the heat source ().
