The disclosure relates to an apparatus comprising means for: receiving (), from a terminal, a request for a service level of an extended reality application, wherein the request includes an indication of a terminal capability and/or terminal preference; determining () a service level based on the terminal capability and/or the terminal preference; and sending (), to the terminal, a response to the request for a service level, wherein the service level indicates that extended reality application processing is to be performed by the terminal, by the apparatus or split between the terminal and the apparatus.
