Abstract
Systems and methods for utilizing imperfect resource states in a fusion based quantum computing system. First and second entangled quantum states are received and input to a quantum computational algorithm that performs a fusion measurement on the first and second entangled quantum states. It is determined that one of the first or second entangled quantum states have an error that exceeds an error threshold. Responsive to the error exceeding the error threshold, the quantum computational algorithm is dynamically modified such that an alternative process resulting in classical measurement results is performed instead of the fusion measurement. The classical measurement results are stored in a non-transitory memory medium.
