Abstract
A tamper-evident closure () is provided and comprises a base () and a lid (). The base comprises a sidewall () and an outer wall () which is radially outwards of the sidewall. The closure comprises a tamper-evident member () which is initially frangibly attached to the lid. Upon first opening of the lid the tamper-evident member is released from the lid and falls between the sidewall and the outer wall.
