Abstract
A refrigerated merchandiser including a case frame having a mullion. A first gasket is coupled to the mullion and has a first gasket element with a wall partially defining a first cavity and a first surface facing outward from the mullion. The first gasket further includes a first attachment element disposed in the first cavity. A second gasket is coupled to the door frame and includes a second gasket element with a seal portion, and a wall partially defining a second cavity and a second surface. The second gasket further includes a second attachment element disposed in the second cavity. The first and second surfaces face each other in the closed position and the attachment elements cooperatively define a magnetic coupling. In the closed position, the first and second surfaces are in non-compressible contact each other to limit infiltration of ambient air into the product display area.
