Abstract

A positive electrode active material for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery according to one exemplary embodiment comprises: a first lithium transition metal composite oxide represented by general formula LiNiMO(in the formula, 1.5≤a≤2.5, 0.95≤b≤1.00, and M1 is at least one metal element excluding Li and Ni); and a second lithium transition metal composite oxide represented by general formula LiNiMO(in the formula, 0<c≤0.5, 0≤d≤0.5, and M2 is at least one metal element excluding Li and Ni).
