Abstract

An optical apparatus capable of adjusting a light amount in each of a plurality of optical systems with a simple structure is disclosed. The optical apparatus includes a plurality of optical systems, each of which includes a stop, and a controller. The controller adjusts an aperture diameter of the stop in at least one of the plurality of optical systems so as to reduce a difference of brightness among the plurality of optical systems relative to a state in which the aperture diameter of the stop is set to a full-aperture diameter in the respective optical systems.
