Abstract
A camera assembly () and method for assembling a camera assembly (). The camera assembly () has a camera housing () and a printed circuit board () attached to the camera housing (). An optical sensor () is part of the printed circuit board (). A lens barrel () is axially surrounded by the camera housing () and mounted in the camera housing () such that a defined airgap () between the lens barrel () and the optical sensor () is set. A rotation-blocking pin (), inserted in the at least one bore () of the camera housing (), is in force-fitting contact with a side portion () of the lens barrel ().
