Abstract
A diaper pail includes a housing and a lid assembly with a first lid that provides access to an interior of a flexible bag assembly, a second lid that provides access to the bag assembly's top structure, and a third lid cartridge that accommodates the bag assembly. An outer edge of the third lid cartridge forms a gap with the housing to allow a top portion of a bag through the gap. The lid assembly also includes a pair of overlapping planar sheets which pinch the bag to prevent odors from within the bag from passing to the outside.
